Description
The first-generation hybrid the Crimean programme built on, and the seed parent behind ‘Nikita’s Gift’.
It is the larger tree of the two, which is worth planning for: a hybrid persimmon left unpruned does not stay the size a catalogue photograph suggests. In a layered planting, the difference between this and its offspring is the difference between a canopy tree and a second-storey one, and that decision is made at planting, not later.
