Description
One of the 2020 Rutgers four, named for a New Jersey county where the trees were first grown out.
Kernels falling free of the husk is a small phrase carrying a large amount of labour. A cultivar whose nuts drop clean can be harvested off the ground mechanically; one whose husks cling adds a dehusking step to every pound.
